At AUSTHOMES BUILDING INSPECTIONS we conduct many independent inspections on a large variety of Building works and problems.

CONSULTING INSPECTIONS

These inspections are conducted on a visual basis and are intended to offer advice to the owner or builder with ANY building problems or questions they may have in relation to their building works.

A report is provided where required and photos of defects can also be provided on request.

PRE-PURCHASE INSPECTIONS

Pre-purchase inspections for dwellings and commercial properties are conducted to give the purchaser an indication of and structural defects and to note any maintenance issues seen during the inspection.
Dwellings are inspected to the Australian Standards, A.S. 4349.1 which does not require any testing or invasive inspections. Inspectors conducting these inspections are registered, covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance and have a minimum 10 years building experience.
A written report is provided with a cover photo or other photos where applicable.

We recommend that to do these inspections the Inspector be a registered Building Inspector, be covered by Professional Indemnity Insurance, have a minimum 10 years Building trade experience and have conducted many hundreds of these inspections. We also recommend that you obtain only a registered Pest Controller with Insurance cover to check for Termites and pests. Our Director has conducted many thousands of these inspections successfully.
